The solution-based citizen movement protecting our ocean, coasts and communities, both human and wild.
Blue Frontier is shaping the ocean conversation locally, nationally, and around the globe.
We’ve published six books, with a seventh now in development, along with hundreds of articles, opinion pieces, and videos featured in The New York Times, NPR, and National Geographic.
Beyond publishing, we equip scientists, advocates, and ocean leaders with the tools to communicate effectively through our hands-on media training workshops. Our Writers for the Sea initiative supported more than 120 authors amplifying ocean conservation voices. We also maintain the Blue Movement Directory – a living, online network of more than 1,200 ocean conservation organizations working to protect our blue planet, designed to help you find ways to get involved and take action no matter where you live.
Our popular Rising Tide Ocean Podcast airs on multiple radio stations and streaming platforms, delivering timely conversations with the leaders and changemakers driving ocean solutions today.
